Charlie AKA King Charles

Charlie came to Southshore Animal Hospital when he was brought to Dr. Chris by his previous owner. He was not able to urinate, and after trying for 2 weeks to unblock him, Dr. Chris decided to do a surgery to help him urinate. The owner was not able to afford the surgery and Dr. Chris fell in love with Charlie and decided to have the owner sign over ownership to us. Dr. Chris did the surgery Pro Bono and officially performed a perineal urethrostomy on him. Charlie was so lovable we decided to keep him in our clinic where he is the King. You can often find him looking for someone to rub his ears and love on him.

Thomas

Tom Tom came to us as a feral cat rescued by a longtime client. He needed a double entropian surgery to fix his eye lids. During hospitalization, Thomas became quite friendly and the Southshore staff fell madly in love. Unable to come to a decision to release him, Dr. Chris' grandmother stepped in and adopted Tom Tom so he could stay as an indoor cat. Eventually, Thomas came to live at the clinic where you can find him roaming the halls or sleeping under the reception desk. He loves belly rubs and ear scratches.
