Ashley Power, DVM
Dr. Ashley Power is from River Ridge, Louisiana and has always been a natural caregiver for both people and animals. She graduated from St. Mary’s Dominican High School. She first earned her BSN RN from LSU School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse while pursuing her lifelong passion for animal health. She went on to attend LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, earning her doctorate in 2025.
Dr. Power is passionate about small animal medicine, exotic pet care, and wildlife. Dr. Power is also an active Volunteer at the Audubon Aquarium Rescue. She is committed to providing high-quality, empathetic care to both patients and their owners.
She currently lives in New Orleans and has a lively array of pets—including her dogs, cats, sugar gliders, and reptiles. She is also excited to be planning her upcoming wedding to her fiancé Michael in 2026.
